Back to My View
Phew…It’s been a long, long time. I apologize. With the holidays and work, I’ve been sticking to Facebook and Twitter for all the news you need. (By the way, don’t forget to follow me at @stephmathias for all the details.) So, what’s been up since the last time we talked? Well, a lot. Let’s start … Continue reading »

I apologize for the blogging hiatus. Between soccer games, weddings and working advance screenings, I just haven’t had the time. So, what’s new? Let’s break it down. I Believe That We Will Win
Tailgating…American Flags…Chants…Beer…A Few Questionable Cheers (I’m not a fan of some of the words in some of the chants…) All those things and more were part of the USMNT game I had the chance to check out a week ago. The Yanks … Continue reading »

Sorry for the hiatus, the last week and a half has flown! How about the gold medal team? The gold medal match was well played by both teams but the U.S. was a team on a mission. A mission for redemption. The first half was dominated by the U.S. and Carli Lloyd scored in the … Continue reading »
Redemption
Most. Epic. Game. Ever. I honestly don’t even know where to start. This quote from Grant Wahl pretty much describes my relationship with the U.S. Women’s National team: “The U.S. women’s soccer team has a way of doing this to you: Making you think it’s over, that there’s no way these women could possibly find a … Continue reading »
